Last Chance to Go for Gold!

We are rapidly approaching the end of the first performance year (Transition Year 2017) for the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS). If you haven’t solidified your reporting period for this year, the time is NOW. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) has allowed some flexibility in choosing how you want to participate in MIPS in 2017. You have the option to submit the minimum amount of data (one measure), 90 days of data, or the full year. If you are planning to submit 90 days of data, October 2, 2017 is the last day that you can start a 90-day reporting period for MIPS.
